Welcome to Hogwash + Tomfoolery. By using hogwashandtomfoolery.com or placing an order, you're agreeing to the terms below. This site is operated by Hogwash & Tomfoolery LLC, a Nevada limited liability company.
Who this is for
You must be at least 18, or have a parent or guardian's permission, to place an order.
What we sell
H+T sells curated vintage and secondhand goods alongside luxury resale. Almost everything is one of one. We disclose condition honestly using our own scale (see the FAQ), and we photograph and describe the actual item you'll receive, not a stock reference. Because these are secondhand and vintage goods, normal signs of wear are part of the piece, not a defect, unless we've said otherwise.
Pricing and payment
Prices are listed in USD and may change without notice. Payment is processed securely through Squarespace Payments at checkout. We reserve the right to cancel and refund an order if a listing has a pricing error or the item is no longer available. Because most of what we sell is one of one, this occasionally happens, and we'll always tell you and refund you in full rather than substitute something else without asking.
Shipping and returns
Governed by our Shipping & Returns policy, which is part of these terms.
Intellectual property
Everything on this site, photography, writing, the H+T name and mark, belongs to Hogwash & Tomfoolery LLC unless otherwise noted. You're welcome to share and link to it; you're not welcome to reproduce it for commercial use without asking us first.
Acceptable use
Don't use the site to do anything illegal, to attempt to interfere with how it runs, or to scrape or resell our content or listings wholesale. Otherwise, have fun.
The Edit and account access
Some pieces are made available first, or exclusively, to members of The Edit. Access is a courtesy we extend, not a purchased right, and we can adjust how it works as the program grows.
Disclaimers
The site and its contents are provided as is. We work hard to describe and photograph every piece accurately, but we don't guarantee the site will be error-free or uninterrupted at all times.
Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, H+T isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or a purchase, beyond the value of the order itself.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or a purchase will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Nevada.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the business grows. The date at the top will reflect the latest version.
